Over a dozen pieces of traditional flatware transformed by Jennifer Trask were buried along the beach to be found by those who comb the shore with metal detectors. Only two findings from the project have ever been reported. The history of these objects continues through the accelerated process of aging in the salt and sand. This beach is also close to many historic homes where wealth once dictated arcane rituals requiring
utensils with one specific function.
