| Assorted pieces of flatware transformed by metalsmith Jennifer Trask were buried along the shoreline in Newport, Rhode Island. The intention was for the objects to eventually be found by local beachcombers who routinely scan the shoreline with metal detectors. The pieces were randomly buried along the entire length of the beach; a threshold between land and water where things are in a constant state of being lost and found by the sea and sand. Only two findings have yet been reported. |
